Join an established and growing behavioral health practice in Lancaster and Dauphin Counties. TEAMCare Behavioral Health is looking for Mobile Therapists to work in school and community settings.  Full and part-time positions avaialble.  

Basic Function:

The Mobile Therapist (MT) provides intensive therapeutic services to a child or adolescent and family in settings other than a provider agency or office.  Therapy can include the child individually, nuclear family or subsets of family, as well as family and community and/or school resource so long as it remains related to the child or adolescent as the primary client.  The child or adolescent is included as the active participant in his or her own treatment.  Interventions provided will involve specific efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent; work with the family to guide and support their efforts in stabilizing the child or adolescent and promoting of appropriate behavior, as well as collaboration with other involved professionals and agencies in order to provide unified services and continuity of care to child and family.  All therapeutic interventions will utilize a strengths-based approach, following assessing the strengths and therapeutic needs of the family through active listening and data collection.  The services follow goals specifically delineated in the Treatment Plan, and can include all forms of psychotherapy that are child-centered, family focused and strengths-based and non-aversive and respect the socio-cultural background of the client and family.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provision of intensive therapeutic services to child or adolescent and family in settings other than a provider agency or office, according to a written treatment plan.
  2. Collaboration with other treatment team members, and other involved professionals and agencies in order to provide unified services and continuity of care to child and family. Determination of family support services needs, natural supports, and professional support needs.
  3. Documentation of sessions/interventions with accuracy, including data collected about frequency and intensity of targeted behaviors, as per treatment plan.
  4. Collaboration with child and family and other involved professionals to develop daily routines during times of crisis and transition and a 24-hour crisis plan.
  5. Attendance of regular supervision meetings with Licensed Psychologist.

 Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Human Services Field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)

Experience in treatment of children and/or adolescents

Act 33 Clearance

Act 34 Clearance

FBI Clearance
